the “Percoca” peach, together with the “Ferrovia” cherry, has become one of the most representative products of Turi and of all Puglia and thanks to this event a fruit that was being lost is being relaunched.

There are different qualities of percoche, the harvest begins in the first days of August and ends in September. In this, the many visitors have the opportunity to taste the percoche and our typical local products such as Faldacchea (almond sweets), Tronère (meat rolls cooked in a wood oven) and good wine, admire the cave of Sant ‘ Oronzo and the historical and architectural beauties of Turi, but also to visit all the south east of Bari, the Valle d’Itria with the wonderful Trulli and monuments, and enjoy one of the most beautiful seas in Italy.
