AUGUST - Festival of St. Oronzo; patron secondary Turi, which, however, reserved the solemn celebrations. On the evening of August 26 a "Carro Trionfale", 14 m high, with the saint's statue is brought to the streets pulled by six mules where it is welcomed by illuminations, launches flowers, balloons, fireworks and music of bands. In the evening, before the "Carro Trionfale", a balloon is launched from the square in front of the Church of St. John the Baptist. Massive is also the race "pirotecnica".Feast of  "percoca"; yellow fruit pulp to substantial and tasty are devoted to Turi since 1950. E 'tasted even drowned in the wine primitive of Turi.
